Your day a day

As a P&ED Specialist, inside of a cooperative team, you will provide support to business, employees and P&C Team ensuring efficient, precise, timely and cost-effective services, providing support in implementing employment related processes to ensure alignment with PMI Guidelines and Local Legislation. Act as an advisor for all P&C services and deliver exceptional employee experience by putting employee experience at the center of what we do.

Responsibilities

• Payroll & Taxes
o Coordination with Global teams involved in issuing/executing the Spanish payroll to ensure payments to employees and authorities.
o Ensure compliance with local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
o Supervision of different tax and social security aspects that affect payroll in relation to personal income taxes and non-resident income taxes.
o Close collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payment cycles based on the payroll calendar defined.
o Vendor management: establish and manage relationship with payroll service provider, ensuring service level agreement is met, and scalations and handled promptly.
o Liaising with Finance to complete monthly payroll reconciliation and ensuring that GL codes are correctly assigned. Collaboration with Finance and HR Controlling teams.
o Management with our external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax obligations generated by the Global Compensation programs and by the remuneration of international movements.

• Other HR processes
o Administration of benefits and vendor management (pension plan, health insurance, flexible retribution platform…)
o Provide support to employees & People Managers related to labor processes (voluntary leavings, dismissals, employee contracts, working hours reductions, leave of absences...)
o Participation in relevant and impactful HR/P&ED projects (local and global)
o Develop and deliver reports and analytics related to payroll information or key HR metrics (turnover, employee costs, absenteeism, remuneration data…), providing insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
In the day to day, you will collaborate with the local and global HR teams as well as with key providers (for taxes, payroll, benefits management, etc.).

Who we are looking for

o EU Work permit
o Academic background: University degree in labor relations, law, or another relevant field for the role.
o Professional experience, 3-5 years of which:
- At least 2 years´ of Payroll experience (calculation, social security, taxes, accounting, and payment and in resolving common payroll issues). Knowledge of Spain´s payroll. Regulations and reporting requirements.
- Experience with HR systems: SAP or Success Factors
- Experience and/or proven relevant knowledge of special regimes, tax exemptions, ordinary regime, non-resident situations, foral regimes and tax models (111, 190 and 296 models) among others.
- Experience and knowledge of current labor law in Spain and HR administration processes
- Professional experience in international accounting and professional service/consultancy firm supporting the payroll, taxes and HR processes indicated will be desirable.
o Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English (C1 at least).
o Software: Advanced user of Microsoft Office, especially in Excel to maintain and create different HR reports.
o Interpersonal skills:
- Strong analytical skills: ability to gather, analyze and summarize data to evaluate tendencies or to extract key metrics.
- Stakeholder management: ability to build strong rapport with stakeholders.
- Ability to work with a result approach, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR/P&ED processes.
- Other: excellent communications skills, organizational and time management skills, ability to work on own initiatives and as part of the team and proactivity.
