We are looking for a Solution Architect to be part of our Payment and Fraud Team.

What you’ll do

• Designs, builds and optimizes solutions, based on business requirements and functional specifications, for the Digital Payments software ecosystem
• Analyses functional specifications and provides estimates with the help of the development team.
• Architectural guidance to the development team.
• Supports test design through the overall solution lifecycle.
• Promotes code quality and functional reuse.
• Understands and consistently applies the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies.
• Work in close collaboration with enterprise architecture teams and development teams.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years of experience as a software architect.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Java developer (ecommerce developer, SOAP, REST).
• Strong skills in J2EE and application integration.
• Solid understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices & OOP patterns.
• Experience in Large Scale Distributed Systems, Highly Available APIs and products that impact millions of customers.
• Knowledge of cloud computing fundamentals and experience is a plus.
• Optional: Quarkus, Java 11, Kafka Streams, AWS
• Agile engineering mindset and experience of working in Agile environment.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to consider issues from different perspectives and draw commercially sound recommendations.
• Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English.
• Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams.
• Client facing communication skills and ability to develop/maintain productive business relationships
• Hands on approach.
• Distinctive skills in planning & prioritizing.
