Key responsibilities

• Operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Assists in managing products and interdependencies to ensure milestone adherence and to guarantee the integrity of the release can be measured
• Continually works towards identifying improvements in the release process working together with the communities of practice
• Executes deployment operations to monitor and improve on pre-release, upgrades, and current versions of software
• Provide training and support to quality assurance team members that covers systems, policies, procedures, and core processes
• Oversees the production pipeline and schedules deployments to minimize downtime for end-users
• Implementing the organization's cloud usage practices, including rules and standards
• Oversees planning and execution of multiple software releases during release cycles
• Ensures predictable, consistent, and successful delivery of software releases by defining success criteria upfront to promote alignment, and actively manages program outcomes
• Measures and monitors progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations
• Coordinates release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests
• Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
• Conducts gap analysis of both existing and potential systems and solutions
• Captures high level system requirements illustrating To-Be roles & responsibilities & stakeholder map through RACI methodology.
• Oversees the support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management
• Customer-centric mindset, continually works to decrease business time lost to incidents and impact on end users
• Ensure SLA’s and KPI’s are continually reviewed, and expectations are met


What will make you successful?
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field is an advantage
• 5+ years of IT related experience or 3+ years of software release experience, or 3+ years Test management experience in a development environment.
• ISTQB foundation certification or above (or Equivalent)
• Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Experience of Automation testing especially UI (Selenium or equivalent)
• Project management, risk management, release management skills and experience
• Experience in application development that demonstrates thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience of working with different development methodologies, (Waterfall & agile)
• Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration and development (CI/CD) tools
• Experience communicating with all levels, management, engineering, and end users.
• Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams
• Experience in Service Now or equivalent support ticketing tool, Jira or equivalent issue tracker, Power BI; Selenium
