Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Systems Architecture: Design and architect robust financial systems and applications, maximising the newest technologies and best practices in the IT domain.
• IT Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate financial systems with existing IT strategies & infrastructure, ensuring data flow, security, and performance.
• Business Process Optimization: Analyze financial processes, identify bottlenecks, and design IT solutions to enhance efficiency, automation, and accuracy.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure financial systems align with regulatory requirements. Implement robust security measures and risk management protocols to safeguard financial data.
• Data Management: Be responsible for data architecture, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and availability. Develop and implement data governance policies.
• Partner Collaboration: Work closely with finance partners, IT teams, and vendors to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and facilitate communication.
• Innovation and Research: Stay updated with emerging IT trends and technologies in finance. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance financial processes and decision-making.
• Documentation and Training: Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation. Deliver training and support to IT and Finance colleagues, enabling them to understand the functional and technical design of current and future financial IT systems.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, financial systems design, and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of finance principles, accounting practices, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
• Experience with cloud-based financial solutions and IT integration technologies.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) will be an added advantage.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Superb communication and interpersonal abilities, with a solid focus on collaboration and partner management.
