Your Future: What will I be doing?

• Responsible for all elements of the Account Management process including: developing existing listings, gaining new listings, managing NPD launches, and steering promotional activities to deliver optimal revenue and profit outcomes for the business.
• Management and implementation of administrative procedures including: forecasting, terms agreements & Joint Business Plans with your customers, and internal price file & accrual maintenance.
• To support development of Convenience channel strategy in conjunction with the Business Account Managers/Head of sales.
• To develop a comprehensive understanding of the key categories and to use this knowledge to deliver sales growth with your customers through demonstration of an objective category management approach.
• Seek out opportunities for self-development proactively and continually.


Your Strengths: What skills do I need to succeed?

• An FMCG background with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of account management.
• Experience within the following channels is preferable: Convenience, Wholesale, Cash & carry, & wholesale foodservice.
• Excellent selling, negotiating and influencing skills
Awareness of current product and market trends
IT literate (Microsoft Office) with strong numerical, analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Good organisation and time management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to develop team culture. Confident presenting to a wider audience.
Drive / Self-Motivation / Proactive / “Can Do“ / Team mentality.
• Customer focused approach with high levels of personal and business integrity.
