Job Description
Global Talent Partners is recruiting an experienced Director, Revenue Growth Management (RGM) for Japan on behalf of a leading multinational beverage company. This key leadership role involves driving innovative pricing, mix management, and portfolio development strategies. The Director will collaborate closely with senior leaders across the Japan Operating Unit, global RGM teams, and Bottlers to increase system growth in revenue, profit, volume, transactions, and market share, ensuring competitiveness of the client’s NARTD portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Lead RGM Japan initiatives including Price, Mix Management, and portfolio optimization
Drive OBPPC strategy and pricing recommendations across key categories (SSD, TEA, Coffee) and channels (VM, CVS, SMDD) in Japan
Lead inflation mitigation and scenario modeling in partnership with bottlers
Analyze portfolio performance, competitive landscape, and identify white spaces to propose portfolio improvements and business cases
Develop long-term plans focused on affordability and premiumization to increase basket incidence and home penetration
Lead promotional analysis and define rules to maximize incremental value across supermarkets, drugstores, discounters, and CVS channels
Propose SKU rationalization to streamline portfolio roles and maximize market impact
Align RGM strategies with stakeholders including Bottlers, Franchise, Marketing, and Sales teams
Participate in local and global workstreams to enhance RGM tools, affordability, portfolio optimization, and advanced analytics
Deliver RGM capability development aligned with global Commercial & Customer Leadership teams, Marketing, and Finance
Collaborate with Bottler partners to ensure successful execution of marketing plans and sales engagement
Requirements
Proven leadership experience in Revenue Growth Management, pricing strategy, and portfolio management, ideally within FMCG or beverage sectors
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies
Experience working in or with Japan market and understanding of local consumer behavior and channels
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple teams and geographies
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with senior leadership
Proficiency in digital strategy and eCommerce market dynamics
Fluent in English and Japanese (preferred)
