Job Description
The Royal Mile Boutique Hotel is seeking a personable and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our front desk team in Edinburgh’s historic Old Town. Key Responsibilities
Greet guests and handle check-in/check-out procedures
Answer phone calls, manage reservations, and provide local information
Handle payments and issue receipts
Assist with guest requests and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance
Maintain accurate records and provide daily handovers
Requirements
Eligibility to work in the UK
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
Comfortable using booking systems and handling card/cash payments
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
