Position: Senior Reservoir Simulation Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Reservoir Simulation Engineer to join our Subsurface team in either Houston, Texas or Port of Spain, Trinidad. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex reservoir development projects and play a key role in optimising field performance through dynamic simulation. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support strategic planning and development of conventional and unconventional assets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, calibrate, and maintain dynamic reservoir simulation models
Support field development planning through scenario analysis and production forecasting
Integrate geoscience, petrophysics, and engineering data into models
Provide technical input to reservoir management strategies
Evaluate development options using reservoir simulation and material balance techniques
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including drilling, production, and planning
Prepare and present technical reports to internal and external stakeholders
Ensure reservoir models comply with internal quality and assurance standards
Requirements
Must have legal authorisation to work in the United States or Trinidad and Tobago without sponsorship
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
