The Equipment and EMR Execution Operator will be responsible to execute all country Equipment operations activities related to countries Equipment control, depots and EMR. The role will be in charge to coordinate and monitor all the equipment (genset / containers) in the country making sure to that equipment surplus is evacuated and demand of equipment for Export/Import is covered with good quality equipment assuring that our Service Delivery exceeds Customer’s expectations.
Key responsabilities:
Responsible to maintain a complete stock availability in the country taking into
consideration the Turn-time / Idle Equipment and flow area Synergies.
Monitor empty Longstanding based on aged cargo procedures included but no limited to annual verification containers.
Ensure vendor service delivery compliance.
Liaises with EMR Specialist, LOC, GSC and Vendor Performance to implement EMR and EQU projects.
Drives and develops projects within own area of expertise
Takes part in vendor audits, repair quality and supplier performance (pre-audit of
repair estimates as well as post audits of repair quality).
Takes active part in performance reviews, gathers data and analyze EQU & EMR area costs aiming for cost savings; responsible for contributing to operational results like quality & turn times.
Deals with terminals, depots, shops and vendors in charge of empty boxes.
Guides and drives the local operation areas (Customer Experience) to improve on Equipment execution.
Handle & manage process in order to guarantee enough and appropriate equipment stock in all cluster/country depots.
Support flow and steering plans to prevent out of stock and overstock situations.
Support for driving execution in relations to 3rd party damages (DERT), total loss containers and operational support of container sales.
Conduct and reconcile a bi-weekly inventory of all equipment in the country in order to avoid longstanding equipment and improving the Turn-time.
Assure RKEM Updates Goal of 4 Hours is achieved by accurate and timely updates (including F1 errors).
We are looking for:
Academic background in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in container yard operations and management, including equipment rotation and container classification.
Knowledge of container repair and maintenance.
Strong internal communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
Intermediate English skills (spoken and written).
