Are you passionate about innovation, startups, and strategic communication? Maersk is looking for a dynamic Ecosystem Engagement & Communications Manager (12 months maternity cover) to lead branding, marketing, and communication efforts across Maersk Growth, and Maersk Management Consulting, and the startups that we work with.

In this role, you’ll shape and execute brand strategies, drive thought leadership, and enhance our presence in the startup and innovation ecosystem. You’ll collaborate across teams to amplify our venture clienting and VC activities within decarbonization and supply chain tech, while also managing internal and external communications, content creation, and event presence.


What you’ll do:

Develop and execute the Maersk Growth brand strategy to position our corporate Venture Client arm and continuing Venture Capital investment efforts in Decarbonization and Energy Transition as a key player in the industry.
Build and lead the communication strategy, driving engaging content creation on agreed platforms and external channels, e.g. LinkedIn.
Manage PR and media efforts, building and maintaining relationships with media, journalists and industry influencers in collaboration with Corporate Communication
Represent Maersk Growth at key innovation events and build ecosystem relationships.
Support in organizing participation in startup-focused events incl. workshops, roundtables, networking sessions and conferences such as Manifest, Energy Tech Summit, Slush, LogiMAT etc
Manage internal communications to inform, align and inspire our colleagues and leaders across Maersk.
Lead and drive the execution of the brand and communication strategy of our inhouse-consultancy Maersk Management Consulting
Support Maersk Management Consulting in marketing and communication-related tasks, creating an engaging employer brand


What we’re looking for:

Proven experience in marketing, branding, and communications.
Strong understanding of startup ecosystems and external innovation.
Strategic thinker with excellent storytelling skills
Creative mind with appealing visualisation and communication skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills – proven ability to navigate different stakeholders
Strong growth mindset and ownership with an ability to proactively take on opportunities and drive results!
