Global Key Client Director
As a Global Key Client Director, you will be working at the center of Maersk as a Global Integrator of Container Logistics. Supported by a team of ambitious specialists, including project managers with extensive experience you will partner with one of Maersk’s prominent global clients; learning their supply chain from end to end, identifying opportunities and developing solutions that will help the client gain visibility, efficiency and stability to their supply chain.
We are seeking energetic, customer facing professionals who enjoy complex logistics challenges. The candidate should have a proven track record of building Customer Relationships and delivering results. A strategic mindset with the ability to identify business opportunities and win new and additional business. If you thrive on complex logistics challenges, have a passion for building C-suite relationships, and enjoy turning strategy into real-world impact, we’d like to meet you.
What you will do
Own the relationship – act as the client’s global trusted advisor
Map and nurture senior networks across regions and functions.
Champion the customer globally, ensuring service promises are kept and pain points are resolved fast.
Grow the business – expand Maersk’s share of wallet
Build and execute multi-year account plans and pursuit strategies.
Identify, qualify, and win large-scale, multimodal opportunities.
Create value – design integrated, tech-enabled solutions
Lead consultative discovery workshops and value-engineering sessions.
Quantify ROI and clearly articulate economic and sustainability benefits.
Drive profitability – deliver on revenue and margin targets
Manage pricing, contracting, pipeline hygiene, and forecasting.
Use data to segment flows, optimise cost-to-serve, and trigger proactive upsell/cross-sell plays.
Represent Maersk – be the face of our brand and thought leadership
Feed market intelligence back to product, tech, and sustainability teams.

Who you are
Commercial athlete. Senior sales or account-management experience, including owning global customers in 3PL, freight forwarding, or supply-chain consulting.
Strategic storyteller. Adept at translating data into insight and insight into boardroom-ready narratives that secure buy-in and budget.
Solution architect. Deep understanding of end-to-end supply-chain processes and the ability to craft multimodal offerings.
Inclusive influencer. Proven success leading virtual, multicultural teams and navigating complex decision-making units.
Financial acumen. Comfortable with analyze customer financial information, trade-flow economics leading to opportunity development in L&S and Ocean
Academic & tech credentials. Advanced certifications (CSCP, CLTD, Six Sigma, etc.) a plus. Fluency in MS Office and CRM/analytics platforms; quick to adopt new digital tools.
Global mobility. Ability to travel internationally
