We are seeking a passionate and experienced Security and Business Continuity (SBC) Business Partner to lead and strengthen our SBC program across our landside operation within the East Mediterranean (EME*) & Central Southern Eastern (CSE*) Areas. As the primary point of contact for all SBC matters across your Areas, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations are prepared, protected, and compliant. You’ll collaborate with site leaders, local operations communities, and customers to drive SBC standardization, execute risk mitigation strategies, and embed a culture of resilience.
Travel within EME & CSE is required, as needed, to support operations and initiatives.
This role will be based in Istanbul with hybrid working structure and is open for local employment only.
* EME: Bulgaria, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Lebanon, Romania, Ukraine, and Türkiye / CSE: Hungary, Czechia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Italy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead SBC efforts across the EME & CSE landside operations (depots, warehouses, transport).
Act as the main advisor to site leaders, stakeholders, and customers on SBC risks and compliance.
Implement and monitor SBC frameworks, ensuring alignment with internal standards and external regulations (C-TPAT, TAPA, IATA, AEO).
Conduct threat assessments and deliver mitigation strategies for people, cargo, and operations.
Oversee Business Impact Analyses, Continuity Plans, and Crisis Management, ensuring local and customer alignment.
Manage Duty of Care initiatives, including travel risk, relocation support, and e-learning.
Support loss prevention and illicit cargo detection in collaboration with Special Operations.
Mentor and upskill site leaders to build strong security and resilience culture.
Ensure compliance with global SBC standards and maintain accurate. performance reporting.
Support the implementation of tech solutions for threat response and resilience.
Provide SBC support during onboarding and for new customer operations.
We’re Looking For
8+ years of experience in site-based or consulting roles in Security and Business Continuity. Experience working across multiple sites/countries is a plus.
Education and/or certification in Security, Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, or emergency/crisis management.
Proven ability to influence and lead through others, building capability and confidence across teams.
A strategic mindset with strong interpersonal skills to build trust and drive stakeholder alignment.
Confident communicator, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Skilled in working with multiple stakeholders at different levels at a matrix environment.
Detail-orientation and eagerness to learn.
