Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Relations Manager to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As the face of our property and the brand ambassador, you will play a crucial role in curating exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction in one of the world's most historic cities.
Manage and enhance VIP guest interactions, focusing on long-stay, high-spend, and loyalty guests
Drive customer loyalty through personalized service and proactive engagement
Coordinate and assist with special requests, ensuring smooth experiences for VIPs and guests celebrating special occasions
Maintain an exceptional response rate to guest reviews on all platforms, addressing concerns promptly and effectively
Lead improvement initiatives based on guest feedback, collaborating with various departments to elevate service standards
Ensure all guests are welcomed and recognized in line with our brand standards
Organize and participate in VIP networking functions, showcasing the best of our hospitality
Empower and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment aligned with our company values
Serve as a cultural bridge, helping international guests navigate local customs and etiquette
Continuously seek innovative ways to enhance the guest experience in our unique setting
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in a hotel environment, preferably in a managerial capacity or similar role
Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus
Excellent personal presentation and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems
Demonstrated ability to manage complaints and provide effective solutions
Strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences
Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with knowledge of local customs and etiquette
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
