Job Description:
Commonwealth Warehouse is seeking a certified Forklift Operator for its Lexington warehouse. This role is responsible for moving pallets, assisting with shipping and receiving, and supporting daily freight handling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move inventory
Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies
Ensure materials are stored in the correct locations
Comply with warehouse safety guidelines at all times
Requirements:
Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
1+ year of forklift experience in a warehouse setting
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus
