Job Description:
Dynapower is looking for an innovative Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of power conversion systems in South Burlington, VT. This is a great opportunity to contribute to products that support clean energy, battery storage, and critical infrastructure worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Design mechanical systems and enclosures for power conversion products
Create and revise CAD models, assemblies, and detailed drawings
Work with cross-functional teams on prototyping, testing, and design validation
Analyze thermal and structural performance of designs
Support manufacturing with DFM principles and documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
2+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in power electronics or industrial equipment
Proficiency with SolidWorks and FEA tools
Strong problem-solving and project management skills
Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle
