Job Description
Assist with the overseeing of the daily operation of the Talent & Culture Department;
Assist in the design, development and delivery of strategic and operational human resources services throughout the organization
Provide all office administration duties such as written correspondence, mail, filing, photocopying, ordering supplies etc.
Responsible for the preparation of new Colleague contracts and payroll information as required
Responsible for Orientation of new colleagues and training of all colleagues on Fairmont Standards and training programs
Assist in carrying out staff audits, identify gaps and propose staffing levels for the organization
Responsible for the organization and auditing of the departmental filing system
Assist with the implementation of human resources policies, practices, and procedures, and ensure compliance with laws and/or regulations with regards to recruitment
Assist with the drafting of job advertisements for vacant jobs, screening applications, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates
Assist with reviewing departmental recruitment requests to ensure that recruitment is based on the organization's staff establishment
Responsible for benefits administration
Responsible for the preparation of weekly and monthly payroll information, ensuring that all paperwork is processed and submitted in a timely fashion
Assist with disciplinary meetings and employee relations matters
Assist with ensuring that Performance Appraisals are completed
Assist with driving employee engagement efforts
Qualifications
Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required
Previous experience working with Human Resources Management Systems required
University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
Knowledge of Barbados Labour Laws
