Job Description:
Switch is hiring Data Center Technicians for its world-renowned Tier 5® Platinum data center campus in Las Vegas. As a Data Center Technician, you’ll be responsible for supporting uptime, maintaining infrastructure, and handling on-site hardware tasks for some of the world's most secure and scalable clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and decommission server hardware and networking equipment
Maintain and monitor physical infrastructure, including cooling and power systems
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Document system updates and support client hardware needs
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure uptime and service quality
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred)
1–2 years of experience in a data center or IT support role
Knowledge of networking, cabling, and server components
Familiarity with ticketing systems and infrastructure monitoring tools
Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders, and in physically demanding environments
