Job Description:
Albany International is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support operations at its Rochester manufacturing facility. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and improving industrial equipment in a clean, modern work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics
Document repairs and maintain maintenance logs
Work closely with production and engineering teams to reduce downtime
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with PLCs, HVAC, and industrial safety practices
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently on night shifts
