Job Description

SO/ Sotogrande, a luxury hotel in the beautiful coastal town of Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and motivating our restaurant staff.

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high customer satisfaction
Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to maintain SO/ Sotogrande's high standards of service
Manage staff scheduling, assignments, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain menu knowledge and assist with food and wine pairings
Manage inventory, place orders, and control costs while maintaining quality
Implement and maintain SO/ Sotogrande's luxury hospitality standards
Assist in organizing and executing special events and promotions
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant area

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in restaurant supervision or management, preferably in luxury dining establishments
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairing
Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and inventory management tools
Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe) required
Knowledge of Spanish and international cuisine
Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards and practices
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
