Job Description

SO/ Sotogrande, a luxury hotel located in the beautiful coastal town of Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth hotel operations during the night shift while providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Perform end-of-day accounting procedures, including balancing all hotel accounts and generating daily reports
Check in late-arriving guests and address their needs during the night shift
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
Monitor hotel security and respond to emergencies as needed
Process room charges, payments, and adjustments accurately
Prepare and distribute various reports for hotel management
Assist with early morning breakfast service preparation when required
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area

Qualifications

Proficiency in hotel management software and basic computer skills (MS Office suite)
Strong mathematical and accounting skills for accurate financial reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Previous experience in hotel night audit or similar role preferred
Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
Understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes
Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor during night shifts
Fluency in English and Spanish required; other languages is a plus
