Job Description:
Lexmark International is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Product Development team in Lexington, KY. This role will contribute to the design and development of next-generation printing and imaging products used worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Design mechanical components for Lexmark printers using CAD software (SolidWorks or Creo)
Create detailed drawings, models, and documentation for manufacturing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical and software engineering
Support prototyping, testing, and failure analysis
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and product performance goals
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
2+ years of experience in mechanical design (consumer electronics or printers a plus)
Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo)
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple design projects and deadlines
