Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a key member of our financial leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning to drive our organization's success.

Manage all aspects of the hotel's financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue and cost-efficiency
Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Lead the budgeting process and provide regular financial forecasts
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial performance and provide insights for decision-making
Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering professional growth and development
Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial systems
Conduct financial risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
Serve as a key liaison between finance, operations, and executive leadership


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial software systems
Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management and development
Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Experience in implementing and improving financial processes and controls
