Job Description:
Prairie SteelWorks Inc. is hiring a certified Welder-Fabricator to join its team in Calgary. This role supports custom metal fabrication for construction and oil & gas clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on steel and aluminum
Read blueprints and fabricate components to spec
Operate cutting, grinding, and forming tools
Inspect welds for accuracy and structural integrity
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow company policies
Requirements:
Red Seal Welder Certification or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in fabrication and welding
Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
Ability to work independently or with a team
Reliable and safety-conscious
