Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Manager to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a Credit Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our hotel's credit operations, managing financial risks, and ensuring optimal cash flow.

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Accounts Receivable department
Develop and implement effective credit policies and procedures
Analyze financial data and credit reports to assess customer creditworthiness
Manage and mitigate financial risks associated with extending credit to customers
Oversee the processing of third-party claims and maintenance of customer accounts
Investigate and resolve complex collection issues
Collaborate with sales and finance teams to optimize credit terms and conditions
Prepare and present financial reports and recommendations to senior management
Ensure compliance with local and international credit laws and regulations
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-effective resource utilization
Provide leadership and guidance to the credit team, fostering a culture of excellence


Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit management or a similar role
Proven track record of successfully managing accounts receivable and credit operations
Strong understanding of financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit management principles
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
Ability to make decisive and sound financial decisions
