Job Description:
Merck & Co. is hiring a detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Production Technician at its flagship Rahway, NJ manufacturing facility. This position plays a critical role in the production of life-saving medications under strict quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment
Prepare ingredients and load batch materials according to SOPs
Record production data and complete required documentation
Maintain a clean and safe work environment following GMP and FDA guidelines
Collaborate with quality assurance and maintenance teams
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
1+ year of experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing
Familiarity with GMP practices and batch record documentation
Ability to follow procedures precisely and work in a cleanroom environment
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
