Job Description
At Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, our Night Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering the seamless luxury experience our guests expect. As Night Audit Manager, you will oversee the night operations of the hotel, ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and uncompromised guest service. You’ll be the go-to leader for both our guests and overnight team, acting as an ambassador of Fairmont’s exceptional standards and values.

Job Duties Include:
Deliver warm, anticipatory service that exceeds guest expectations through attention to detail and personalized recognition.
Oversee night operations in the absence of department managers, ensuring smooth and safe hotel functionality.
Mentor and coach Front Office colleagues to support professional development and team engagement
Resolve guest concerns with care, professionalism, and prompt action, ensuring every guest leaves with a lasting impression.
Support recruitment, training, and recognition efforts to build a guest-driven and enthusiastic team.
Monitor and maintain guest service standards, room inventory, and audit processes
Execute night audit functions and manage check-in/check-out procedures, including cash handling.
Maintain operational readiness in emergencies and uphold all health, safety, and legal procedures.
Communicate effectively with all departments, sharing relevant updates on services and promotions.
Develop and maintain job tools, procedures, and documentation for clarity and accessibility.
Set departmental goals and track performance in areas such as guest satisfaction, safety, and financials.
Represent the department in hotel-wide meetings and contribute to overall hotel initiatives.
Maximize revenue through upselling and walk-in conversion strategies.
Manage departmental payroll and ensure a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible workspace.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years at a 4 or 5 Diamond Hotel, Fairmont Gold or Front Office
Minimum 1 year of leadership experience
Operational knowledge of Opera and Microsoft Office Suite
