Job Description

Steward - Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba
Do you have a heart to serve and love being part of a team? As Steward Attendant, you will assist in the execution of memorable Food & Beverage experiences for our guests.

Responsible for maintaining organizational standards of hygiene, and sanitation in all the areas assigned.
Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of all equipment under his/her control including polishing of china, glass, silver and keeping them in designated areas.
Ensures timely, prompt service is provided to customers (internal & external) to achieve high customer satisfaction.

What you will be doing:
Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces
Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment


Your experience and skills include:
Organized and a great team player
Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Understanding of food safety and hygiene


Your team and working environment:
Ensures proper and cost effective utilization of resources aterial, equipment, cleaning supplies) to achieve high organizational profitability.
Controls breakage’s/ pilferage in assigned areas.
Assists Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor in smooth operation of the department.
Ensures garbage rooms are maintained as per international standards and garbage is handled as per hotels policy (e.g. screening)
Is aware of the daily hotel activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities
Performs as per OSM Standards
Proper grooming at all times
Attends training classes as per schedule
Shows fullest cooperation within the team and other departments
