Job Description:
Island Freight & Logistics is hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to join our Honolulu warehouse team. This role is key to supporting freight handling, inventory movement, and shipping operations across Oahu.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move goods and pallets
Transport materials within the warehouse and to staging areas
Assist with order fulfillment and shipping preparations
Inspect forklift equipment daily and report maintenance needs
Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts
Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through company)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to safety and accuracy
