Job Description:
Merck & Co. is seeking a passionate Research Associate to join its Research & Development division in Rahway, NJ. In this role, you will support early-stage drug discovery and development in a collaborative scientific environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and perform laboratory experiments in chemistry or biology
Analyze data and contribute to ongoing research initiatives
Document results in lab notebooks and electronic systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research objectives
Maintain lab equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
Hands-on lab experience in pharmaceutical R&D
Knowledge of lab instrumentation and data analysis tools
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Understanding of GLP and regulatory expectations preferred
