Job Description:
Southwest Earthworks Inc. is hiring skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to support excavation and grading operations for commercial and residential construction projects in the Albuquerque area. Join a dependable team operating state-of-the-art machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, and backhoes
Grade and level land per site plans and engineering specifications
Load and unload materials and debris
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment
Adhere to all safety regulations and job site protocols
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in construction
Valid New Mexico driver’s license required; CDL is a plus
Familiarity with trenching, grading, and site prep
Commitment to safe equipment use and workplace conduct
