Job Description:
PDM Steel Service Centers is looking for a skilled Machine Operator to run metal cutting and processing equipment at our Woodland, WA location. This role involves precise operation of machinery to prepare steel products for customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC saws, shears, or flame-cutting equipment
Read work orders and blueprints to determine cutting specifications
Measure and inspect finished materials to ensure quality standards
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines
Follow safety guidelines and operational procedures at all times
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
1–2 years of machine operation or metal fabrication experience
Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and blueprints
Basic math and mechanical skills
Ability to lift steel materials and work in a warehouse setting
