Job Description:
HollyFrontier Corporation is hiring Refinery Operators for its Cheyenne, WY facility. As part of the operations team, you will monitor and manage refinery units and systems, ensuring the safe and efficient production of petroleum products.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor gauges, alarms, and control systems in real-time
Adjust valves, pumps, and other equipment to regulate flow and pressure
Sample and test products to ensure quality standards are met
Follow established procedures for startup, shutdown, and emergency response
Document operational data and report abnormalities
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
Previous experience in oil, gas, or chemical plant operations preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work in rotating shifts and respond to emergencies
Commitment to safety protocols and environmental compliance
