Job Description:
Atlantic Freight Solutions is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join its distribution team in Bridgeport, CT. This role supports high-volume shipping and receiving operations in a dynamic and fast-paced logistics center.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload shipments using sit-down and stand-up forklifts
Support order picking, staging, and packing as needed
Maintain accurate inventory records using barcode scanners
Perform equipment checks and follow maintenance protocols
Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals
Requirements:
Previous forklift operation experience required
Valid forklift license or certification
Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures and safety standards
Able to work on your feet for extended periods and lift heavy loads
Strong team communication and time management skills
