Job Description:
Northern Minerals Group is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to support mining operations near Fairbanks, AK. This role involves operating large-scale equipment in an industrial mining environment, ensuring safe and efficient material movement.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate haul trucks, front-end loaders, and excavators in open-pit mining
Perform routine maintenance checks on heavy equipment
Assist in loading and transporting materials within the mine site
Comply with MSHA regulations and site-specific safety procedures
Work collaboratively with mining and maintenance teams
Requirements:
2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in mining or industrial settings
Familiarity with large loaders, haul trucks, and excavation equipment
Ability to work in remote locations and harsh weather conditions
Strong focus on safety and environmental compliance
Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
