About the job
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Brand Manager - Activia as part of our passionate Essential Dairy and Plant (EDP) team based in Melbourne. You will be responsible for delivering strategy and sustainable profitable growth for the portfolio in its entirety, in line with internal business ambition, as well as contributing to continuous improvement and coordinating transversal projects where requested.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing – DSDA, you will define and execute the end-to-end brand strategy and activation plans for the Activia brand. You will also have shared ownership and responsibility for the Liddells brand, leading the yogurt part of the business in coordination with Saputo Dairy Australia.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Design, lead, and drive the complete brand strategy, communication, and implementation plans for your product portfolio.
Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and implement new strategies based on findings.
Planning, activation, and evaluation of designated marketing initiatives and impact on sales and ROI.
Understand consumer needs, behaviours, and trends and retailers and category needs to define clear strategies and target groups.
Collaborate with partner agencies and develop a media and communication plan to reach the brand’s consumer target and deliver the media objectives most effectively.
Define the innovation brand pipeline vision, based on brand strategy, market opportunities, and consumer trends.
Mentor, coach, and develop one direct report and shape their career growth.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on projects and build strong relations with both internal and external stakeholders.


About you
You are a passionate and experienced branding professional with comprehensive product management and team leadership experience within the FMCG environment. Your prior work experience in a fast-paced industry like yogurt, probiotic, or health industry will be advantageous. You are a strategist and a great team player. Above all, you enjoy taking ownership & and responsibility and know how to act with speed, agility, and pragmatism.

Ideally, you will have:

Proven experience in Brand/Product/Marketing management, within the FMCG industry
Prior experience in an SBM role in a similar industry
Proven experience turning around a brand or portfolio
Proven experience in motivating and coaching small team
Strong project management skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to develop close relationships internally and externally
Experience working in an international corporate environment
