Job Description:
Airbus is seeking skilled Aircraft Structures Mechanics to support final assembly line operations at our Mobile, AL facility. This role involves assembling primary and secondary structures for commercial aircraft with precision and attention to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Install structural parts, including fuselage panels, wings, and control surfaces
Use precision measuring tools and equipment to ensure accurate assembly
Follow Airbus quality standards and manufacturing procedures
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation
Support troubleshooting and rework activities as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; aerospace or technical certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft assembly or sheet metal work
Knowledge of aerospace materials, fasteners, and structural components
Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions
Strong commitment to safety and quality
