Job Description:
Florida Freight Network is hiring a proactive Transportation Planner to manage and optimize freight movements across Florida and neighboring states. This position is ideal for candidates with logistics or supply chain backgrounds looking to grow in transportation management.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate freight routes and delivery schedules
Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and customers
Monitor transportation costs and identify efficiency improvements
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
Use logistics software to track shipments and generate reports
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
2+ years of experience in transportation planning or logistics coordination
Knowledge of TMS (Transportation Management Systems)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities
