Job Description:
Molex, a global electronics and connectivity innovator, is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our team in Lisle, IL. In this role, you will help design and develop high-performance electronic connectors and systems for automotive, industrial, and data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design connector systems and components from concept to production
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality
Perform mechanical and electrical testing, validation, and analysis
Use CAD software (Creo or SolidWorks) to create product models and drawings
Support product lifecycle management, cost analysis, and supplier interactions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2+ years of experience in product design and development
Proficiency with CAD and product simulation tools
Strong communication and project management skills
Knowledge of automotive or electronic interconnect systems is a plus
