Job Description:
Westech/Wotco Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair construction and industrial equipment at our Mills, Wyoming facility. This role is essential to keeping our fleet and customer equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems on heavy equipment
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections
Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and work orders
Operate diagnostic tools and maintain accurate repair records
Ensure all work meets safety and environmental standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification preferred
3+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and powertrains
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in indoor/outdoor environments
Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
