Job Description:
AGWRX Cooperative is seeking an Agronomy Operations Assistant to support our agronomy services in Watertown, SD. This role involves blending and delivering crop inputs, assisting with equipment maintenance, and supporting seasonal planting and application activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Blend and load dry/liquid fertilizers and crop protection products
Deliver crop inputs to growers using tender trucks or applicators
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the agronomy site and equipment
Assist applicators and agronomists with seasonal operations
Operate equipment including forklifts, sprayers, and loaders
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
CDL Class A or B preferred (or ability to obtain)
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to operate heavy equipment
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
Agriculture experience or knowledge of crop inputs a plus
