Job Description:
Georgia-Pacific is hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our Bay Springs, Alabama distribution and packaging facility. In this critical role, you'll help move products safely and efficiently while supporting high-volume warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to transport materials and finished products
Load/unload trucks and place goods in assigned storage locations
Follow all warehouse safety and operating procedures
Update inventory systems and complete shipping/receiving documentation
Support cycle counting and stock rotation activities
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or industrial setting
Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment
Basic understanding of inventory and logistics operations
Valid forklift certification preferred (or company-sponsored training available)
