Job Description:
Georgia-Pacific is seeking a dependable Warehouse Material Handler to join our team at the Pennington, Alabama facility. This role plays a vital part in managing inventory, moving goods safely, and supporting manufacturing and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload materials using forklifts or pallet jacks
Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
Maintain accurate inventory records using scanners or WMS
Perform daily inspections on equipment and report issues
Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
1+ year of warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience preferred
Forklift certification or willingness to be trained
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
Basic math and computer skills
