Job Description:
AGWRX Cooperative is hiring a Grain Elevator Operator at our Watertown, SD location. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping grain, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient operation during harvest and throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload grain trucks and railcars
Monitor grain quality and condition during storage
Operate grain handling equipment including conveyors, dryers, and scales
Perform regular equipment inspections and maintenance
Maintain accurate records of grain movement and inventory
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Experience in grain handling or ag operations preferred
Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
Comfortable working at heights and in dusty environments
Strong work ethic and attention to safety
