Job Description:
Schaeffler Group USA is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to support quality assurance initiatives at our Fort Mill, SC production facility. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement and ensuring product quality for high-performance automotive and industrial components.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for internal and customer-reported issues
Maintain and improve quality systems in compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
Perform data analysis, capability studies, and PPAP documentation
Collaborate with engineering, production, and suppliers to ensure quality standards
Support internal audits, customer visits, and regulatory inspections

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
3+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing setting
Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality systems (SAP, Minitab preferred)
Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset
