Job Description:
General Dynamics Mission Systems is hiring a Software Engineer to join our advanced development team in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and test software for secure communications systems supporting defense and national security missions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop embedded and application-level software in C/C++ or Java
Participate in full software development life cycle from requirements to deployment
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
Write and maintain technical documentation for systems and software
Support integration, testing, and debugging of complex systems
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
2+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in C/C++ or Java
Experience with embedded systems or secure communications preferred
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
