Job Description:
Roseburg Forest Products is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and reactive maintenance at our Springfield, OR facility. This is a great opportunity to join a stable company that values safety, reliability, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Perform scheduled maintenance on saws, conveyors, presses, and other equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety guidelines
Requirements:
High school diploma or technical certification in industrial maintenance
3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred
Proficiency with tools, welding, fabrication, and diagnostic equipment
PLC knowledge is a plus
Ability to work independently and respond to emergency repairs
