Job Description:
MMX Transportation is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our Fayetteville operations team. The ideal candidate will have a background in freight coordination, scheduling, and dispatch. This role is key to ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch drivers for local and regional deliveries
Monitor load status and resolve delays or issues
Maintain accurate records of shipments and customer communications
Communicate with shippers, carriers, and internal teams
Optimize delivery routes and manage driver hours to ensure compliance
Requirements:
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or equivalent work experience
2+ years in transportation, dispatch, or logistics coordination
Proficient with dispatch software and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in fast-paced environments
