Job Description:
Technetics Group is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist at our Columbia, SC facility to support precision manufacturing of components used in aerospace, semiconductor, and industrial sealing solutions. This role offers a great opportunity for experienced machinists seeking stability, competitive pay, and technical growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills according to engineering drawings
Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments
Read and interpret blueprints and machining specifications
Adjust machine settings to maintain tolerances and efficiency
Ensure all safety and quality standards are met during operation
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with G-code, tooling setup, and geometric tolerancing
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production schedules
Forklift certification and previous aerospace manufacturing experience are a plus
