Job Description:
Liebherr USA is hiring CNC Machinists at our Newport News, VA facility. This role supports the precision manufacturing of components for Liebherr’s mining and construction equipment. Ideal candidates will have experience with CNC turning and milling and a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce metal components
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams
Requirements:
High school diploma or technical certificate in machining
2+ years of experience with CNC equipment (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens)
Understanding of G-code programming and shop math
Ability to read mechanical drawings and use precision instruments
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment
