Job Description:
General Motors is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join its maintenance team at the Fairfax Assembly Plant. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems to ensure continuous production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical equipment
– Troubleshoot PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems
– Perform preventive maintenance and document work in maintenance management systems
– Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime
Requirements:
– Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience
– 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
– Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
– Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and electrical schematics
